Rules:
1 .USGA & Local Rules apply to League Play.
2. All putts that count must be holed. Failure to do so will mean loss of hole.
3. Play will be from white tees.
4. USGA handicaps will be used to determine team handicaps, including the use of half strokes.
5. Until USGA handicap is established, the committee will assign players a handicap on a weekly basis.
6. Higher handicap team will receive strokes where they fall on the card, including half strokes. The higher handicap player on the team will deduct the strokes from his score for that hole for the team’s match score.
7. Substitutes need an established USGA handicap. Those without will be assigned a handicap by the committee in a conservative manner.
Pairings & Points:
1. Teams will play in a 10 team round robin tournament twice during the year. First half will be determined by blind draw of teams, second half will be determined by team handicap.
2. Matches are to be played on Wednesdays.
3. Should a team have only one member available, then that member will play against the other team and his score is the team’s score.
4. There are 2 points available per hole with 2 more for total team score. The team with the lowest score on a hole wins 2 points. Ties are awarded 1 point each. The teams best ball score for the nine-hole match are compared to determine the total score points.
5. Matches can be played on other nights (by Thursday) if the teams cannot compete on Wednesday. These scores cannot count in weekly skins game.
6 .Rain-outs will not be played. Teams will be awarded 10 points each
